Ingredients
Cake layer
- 70 g coconut oil
- 120 g almond flour
- 2 tbsp date syrup
Caramel layer
- 100 g nut butter
- 12 g coconut oil
- 6 Medjool dates (pitted)
Top layer
- 2 bars Funky Fat Dark Chocolate 75%
- A little coconut oil
- Sea salt
How to Make Them
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Mix almond flour, coconut oil and date syrup. Press into a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes until golden. Let cool.
- Soak the dates in hot water for 10 minutes. Blend with nut butter and coconut oil into a smooth caramel.
- Cut the cake layer in half. Stack: cake – caramel – cake – caramel.
- Freeze until firm.
- Melt the chocolate with a little coconut oil and coat the bars. Sprinkle with sea salt.
- Chill for at least 2 hours — then enjoy!
