Keto Chocolate Avocado Mayo Cupcakes


Imagine the smell of fresh cake in the kitchen on a weekend day… now imagine it’s a chocolate one… mmm. Weekends are perfect to get creative in the kitchen, and so we decided to combine chocolate, avocado mayo, collagen powder and a bunch of other ingredients into these little pieces of heaven cake here. It turned out to be one of the best keto chocolate cake recipes we’ve ever had.

Although it may sound a bit strange, the combination of avocado mayo from Hunter and Gather, and our KetoCacao chocolate is divine - making these cupcakes not only delicious but a whole extra fatty.


Ingredients (Makes 6 cupcakes)


  • 100g KetoCacao of your choice (We used 2 Coconut)

  • 2/3 cup coconut flour

  • 6 eggs

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup cacao powder

  • 1 cup avocado mayonnaise from Hunter and Gather

  • 1/3 collagen powder from Hunter and Gather

  • 1tsp baking soda

  • 1tsp sea salt

  • (Optional: If you like it sweet, you can add the keto sweetener of your choice)




  1. Melt the KetoCacao bars au bain-marie

  2. Whisk the eggs and the vanilla extract in a bowl

  3. Add avocado mayonnaise

  4. Add the dry ingredients to the mixture slowly

  5. Add 1 cup of water and mix well

  6. Grease the cupcake moulds and add the batter

  7. Bake it for 20 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees celsius

  8. Top with your favourite toppings
