While also tasting as delicious as your old sugar-full chocolate, there is no longer a need to compromise on taste or health.

Did you know that the antioxidants in cacao are blocked when you add sugars, milk, or fillers to chocolate? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Luckily Funky Fat Foods is focused on quality ingredients and skipping the sugar or artificial stuff so you can taste, not only delicious chocolate but also get all the health benefits from cacao + the extra MCTs we add. This way, the antioxidants can do their job preventing damage to our cells, reducing inflammation, and giving mental clarity

Pure, rich organic cacao is packed with antioxidants that prevent cell damage and support blood flow, blood pressure, and inflammation. Also, did you know that cacao has plenty of healthy fats, soluble fiber, and minerals that are essential to our diets?

Cacao beans are roasted, stripped, and pressed to take out the fat which is high in fatty acids to keep your body active. Including it in your diet can decrease inflammation and help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, lowers levels of LDL and increases HDL, diabetes, and/or stroke. It also contains vitamin E to support good vision, brain, skin, and blood.

MCTs (Medium-Chain Triglycerides)


MCTs (Medium-Chain Triglycerides)

MCTs (Medium-Chain Triglycerides) are medium-length chains of fatty acids that, unlike long chains, go straight to the liver and are absorbed faster, improving mental clarity, performance and memory. The liver digests them more easily and converts them into ketones which are a more steady energy source than glucose and help your body feel fuller for a longer time. There are 4 types of MCTs.

For the Funky Fat chocolate bars we use C8 and C10 which have strong antibacterial and antifungal properties, and have been shown to improve skin conditions like acne, psoriasis, and dermatophilosis.




Erythritol is the natural sweetener that we use. It occurs naturally in small quantities in some fruits and fermented foods, ours comes from a natural fermentation process of glucose extracted from corn. Since its molecule is so small and simple and has a 0 GI (glycaemic index). It is easily digested, helps hydrate your colon, protects the intestinal tissue, and purifies the colon from pathological organisms.

Last, but not least, it has antioxidant properties fighting oxidative stress, preventing cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.


Acacia Fiber

We combine MCT Oil with Acacia Fibre as the binding agent and as an added functional ingredient. Acacia Fibre is a soluble fiber that helps slow digestion, has zero net carbs, non-insulinogenic (helps manage blood glucose levels after meals), and promotes gut health.
