This delightful high-protein cinnamon roll cake is perfect for a quick, guilt-free treat. Made with simple ingredients and topped with rich white chocolate chunks from Funky Fat Foods, it combines delicious flavour with wholesome nutrition. Whether you're craving a comforting dessert or a post-workout snack, this single-serve cake hits the spot without any added sugar.
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 50 g Greek yogurt
- 70 g milk
- 35 g flour (regular or low-carb)
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 2 squares Funky Fat choc chopped (I used the White)
- 5 drops sweetener of choice
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Dash of cinnamon
Frosting
- 1 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp brown erythritol
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Cinnamon Swirl
- 5 g butter - melted
- 1 tbsp brown erythritol
- 1-2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp milk (regular or low-carb)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Mix all batter ingredients in an oven-safe container or bowl.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Cool for 10–15 minutes.
- Mix frosting ingredients until smooth, then spread evenly over the cooled cake.
- Mix cinnamon swirl ingredients in a small bowl.
- Transfer to a ziplock bag, snip a corner, and pipe swirl pattern over frosting.
