High Protein Cinnamon Roll Cake - No Added Sugar

Made with simple ingredients and topped with rich white chocolate chunks from Funky Fat Foods, it combines delicious flavour with wholesome nutrition. Whether you're craving a comforting dessert or a post-workout snack, this single-serve cake hits the spot without any added sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 50 g Greek yogurt
  • 70 g milk
  • 35 g flour (regular or low-carb)
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 2 squares Funky Fat choc chopped (I used the White)
  • 5 drops sweetener of choice
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Dash of cinnamon

Frosting

  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp brown erythritol
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Cinnamon Swirl

  • 5 g butter - melted
  • 1 tbsp brown erythritol
  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp milk (regular or low-carb)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Mix all batter ingredients in an oven-safe container or bowl.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Cool for 10–15 minutes.
  5. Mix frosting ingredients until smooth, then spread evenly over the cooled cake.
  6. Mix cinnamon swirl ingredients in a small bowl.
  7. Transfer to a ziplock bag, snip a corner, and pipe swirl pattern over frosting.
