It is the most romantic time of the year again, which can only mean one thing: It’s chocolate season again! Well, to be honest, it’s chocolate season all year round for some of us. But especially, during the month of love, chocolate is something that is a must in our pantry. It doesn’t really matter if it’s in the form of a chocolate bar or a healthy chocolate snack.
That’s why we’ve prepared a list of our favorite high-fat chocolate snacks for this valentine’s day (or galantine’s day that way you’ll have several snack options to make for your loved ones). All of the following recipes are keto-friendly and low-carb, so besides being extremely delicious, they’re super healthy!
1- Keto Vanilla Ice Cream Bonbons
We know it’s still cold outside but these keto vanilla ice cream bonbons are perfect for a special occasion. You can use heart-shaped molds to make them into cute heart-shaped bonbons. This of course won’t affect their flavor but it will affect their cuteness. The good thing is that it is a pretty easy recipe to follow and you can batch-make them in advance and have them ready for February 14th. They’re meant to be eaten cold, so make sure you’re storing them properly. They’re good as a snack but also as a dessert, and they’ll keep you coming back for more, that’s for sure!
2- 2 Ingredient Keto Toblerone Pralines
These 2 ingredient keto toblerone pralines are everything you’re looking for in a snack: they’re healthy, delicious, and easy to make, and you can make them in advance and store them in the fridge. Plus you’ll only need 2 ingredients: Funky Fat Chocs and crispy pork rind (trust us, it works!). It will take you less than 20 minutes to make them and they’re perfect for this next Valentine’s day. You can share them with your loved ones, or be selfish and have them for yourself! It’s your choice.
Also, when making them, keep in mind that we used Funky Fat Dark Choc, but you can choose the one you love the most.
3-Strawberry Low-Carb Brownie Bites
Who doesn’t love a good old brownie? Well, what about a low-carb brownie or even better, a strawberry low-carb brownie? That is the perfect combination. Plus this recipe is also sugar and gluten-free! This is the perfect way to say I love you to a friend, a partner, or a family member. With several layers of love, this low-carb brownie has the perfect texture and is very flavorful, basically, everything a brownie needs to be.
A brownie base followed by a strawberry layer and topped with chocolate frosting, it’s perfect for a romantic day like Valentine’s day 2023.
4- Keto Love Bombs
These fat love bombs are the perfect Valentine’s day snack. They’re flavorful, low-carb, keto, and made with a touch of dark chocolate (or white if you prefer). They melt in your mouth! If you love peanut butter (or any kind of nut butter) this snack is for you. They’re sweet but not that sweet and are the perfect combination of nut butter and chocolate, mix and match them however you want. You can add some salt flakes in the end to give them that sweet-salty delicious flavor.
Plus, you don’t need to be the next master chef to prepare them since they’re super easy to make. However, if you’re planning on using them on February 14th, it’s best if you make them the night before since they need some time in the fridge.
You can again make them in a typical square shape or, since it’s a special day, make them fancy and with a heart shape. Depending on your mood and your molds, of course.
5- Delicious Keto Chocolate Truffles
Whipping cream and Funky Fat Dark Choc make these delicious & nutritious sugar-free keto chocolate truffles. They’re probably the easiest truffles out there, in just 5 minutes you’ll have a enough for a week. Again, you can batch-make them and keep them in the fridge and they’re a great option if you want to make them and bring them to work to treat your colleagues or to bring them to a friends meeting to celebrate galentine’s day. However, make sure you prepare enough for everyone, because so far everyone that has tried these chocolate truffles, loves them!
6- Funky Fat Keto Cake Pops
These keto cake pops are the funniest snack ever. Very customizable and super cool because you can get very creative with the toppings. You can even have a reunion with your friends on galantine’s day and make each one of them make their own topping! This is a fun way to spend time with your friends and loved ones while sharing a healthy and delicious snack. If you decide to do this, we recommend you have the cake part ready and then do the topping part together. For the toppings is best if you have different types of chocolate and other toppings like mixed berries, crushed almonds, or shredded coconut ready so you can jump directly to the fun part!
